PD Dr. Anna Saborowski

Anna Saborowski is a Principal Investigator in SP8, Co-Speaker of the RTG 2978, and a member of the Selection and Curriculum Committees.

Her research focus lies on molecular mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies in gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dr. Saborowski has served as steering committee member of the PLATON Network (Platform for Targeting Tumor Mutations) since 2021, founding member of the “German Liver Cancer Study Group” since 2022, and leader of “Working Group 3 - Personalisation of treatment for patients with BTC” and Management Committee member of COST Action 22125 (Precision Medicine in Biliary Tract Cancer) since 2023. In addition, she co-organized the International Liver Cancer Conference in Heidelberg and the Freiburger Workshop on Translational GI-Oncology (both 2023) and the EASL school “Precision oncology in hepatobiliary cancers” (2024).
