Prof. Dr. Andreas Fischer
Andreas Fischer is a Principal Investigator in SP11.
His research focus lies on vascular biology with focus on angiogenesis and vascular control of organ function & tumor progression and cell signaling with focus on intercellular ligand/receptor communication and paracrine cross-talk.
Prof. Fischer has been regularly supervising B.Sc. and M.Sc. students and been a member of Thesis Advisory Committees since 2012. From 2007 to 2021, he regularly taught physiology for medical students. Since 2014, he has been teaching clinical chemistry for medical students.
