Prof. Dr. Volker Ellenrieder

Volker Ellenrieder is a Principal Investigator in SP4 and a member of the Selection Comittee.

His research focus lies on chromatin- and transcription associated processes in the development and progression of pancreatic cancer.

Since 2006, Prof. Ellenrieder has regularly supervised B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in lab rotations and for theses. He is a member of the local Research Committee of the UMG and since 2023 he has been developing the Curriculum Oncologicum, a collection of elective courses for medical students interested in gastrointestinal oncology.
